Sava Insurance Group sets up business continuity measures in response to pandemic

In line with the measures of the Slovenian government, imposing nation-wide restrictions on ‘all but essential’ services, and expert recommendations to shut down public life, the Sava Insurance Group also set up measures to protect the health of people and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

In its efforts to contain the effects of realised operational risk, the Sava Insurance Group follows its business continuity protocols since the health of its staff and customers is paramount. To this end, the Slovenian members of the Sava Insurance Group will enter a hybrid mode of operation as of Monday, 16 March 2020, with employees predominantly working remotely. As of that date, information on the operation of Group members will be posted on each member’s website.

The non-Slovenian Group members also follow business continuity protocols and will inform the interested public of the mode of their operation through their respective websites.

At the time of preparing this announcement, it is not possible to measure all impacts on Group operations. The Company will keep investors and other interested public parties informed of potential impacts as soon as these can be assessed and to the extent they are material. The sensitivity of the Group’s results to various risks are discussed at length in the 2018 annual report and the 2019 interim financial reports. Financial reports are available from the Company’s website, at https://www.sava-re.si/en/investors/financial-information/financial-reports/

For the time being, the 2020 financial calendar remains unchanged.
