SENIOR REINSURANCE UNDERWRITER and CLIENT MANAGER (m/f) in the Non-group Reinsurance Center

We are looking for a senior reinsurance underwriter and client manager (m/f) for the Non-group Reinsurance Center.

The position involves work in a dynamic and creative working environment with an international component, teamwork and opportunities for professional training and education.

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • reinsurance underwriting and retrocession management (concluding reinsurance contracts),
  • preparing analyses and collaborating with insurance companies in product development,
  • providing support to insurance companies, retrocessionaires and brokers in claims handling,
  • providing professional support to insurance companies,
  • contributing to risk identification and risk management within the reinsurance department,
  • planning and implementing marketing for reinsurance and other services,
  • developing business relationships with current and new partners (attendance at conferences and visits to partners), etc.

 

The candidate will have a professional college degree in engineering, economics, mathematics or law and at least 5 years of work experience. The role requires proficiency in English, good computer skills, especially MS Office applications. The role also involves a lot of travelling. Priority will be given to candidates with expertise and experience in reinsurance industry.

 

The selected candidate will conclude a full-time permanent employment contract with a probationary period of 6 months. The workplace is located in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
